Atlanta, GA – August 19, 2003 – Everlube® Products, a leading supplier of solid film lubricant technology, has received qualification on Everlube® 853 and Perma-Slik® RMAC, two solid film lubricants used by GE Aircraft Engines (GEAE). These materials reduce friction and extend wear life of components by preventing galling and seizing.

Everlube 853 is approved to GE’s Material Specification A50TF305 Class Graphite Based and the F50TF96 performance specification. Everlube® 853 is a water-based, dry lubricant containing no molybdenum disulfide, lead, heavy metals or antimony compounds, making it one of the few green aircraft lubricants available. It meets all 3.4 Performance Characteristics of A50TF305, including load carrying capacity and environmental resistance. Everlube® 853 meets the Sliding Wear Resistance requirements in the F50TF96 performance specification for temperatures ranging from 650º to 1200ºF, and is ideal for use on numerous turbine engine components.

Everlube 853 provides heightened durability under severe conditions and has passed GE’s 4.4 Thermal Stability test to 1400°F, ensuring lubrication and performance as a high temperature dry film lubricant. Its enhanced torque-tension properties also make it ideal for use with fasteners.

Perma-Slik RMAC is approved to the A50TF313 Class and Class material specification for assembly aid lubricant materials. This coating’s unique organo-metallic binder makes it ideal for higher load carrying applications, as well as field applications that do not require extensive pretreatment. For increased productivity, Perma-Slik RMAC is specifically designed to dry to the touch in less than five minutes.
