Everlube Products receives Government Gold Medal Award.

Peachtree City, GA – June 8, 2007 – Everlube® Products was honored by the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) as one of the government’s best suppliers at the 17th Automated Best Value System Award Ceremony during the center’s annual business conference.

Carl H. Van Acker accepted the Gold Medal from the commander of the supply center, Navy Rear Admiral Mark F. Heinrich. This was the tenth such award that Everlube Products has received for supplying solid film lubricants/engineered coatings to the government for use by the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Department of Transportation, U.S. Postal Service and the U.S. Forestry Service. Everlube Products maintains its status as one of an elite group of approximately 80 suppliers to have received this award five or more times; and just one of the 7000 plus suppliers that DSCR uses to supply the services with over 1.2 million repair parts/supplies for 1,300 major weapon systems that translates into over 3.1 billion dollars in government sales.

Companies qualifying as Automated Best Value System Vendors must have shipped 10 or more contract lines to DSCR during a 12-month rating period. To qualify as a Gold Medal Contractor, the contractor must have a score of 100; this score represents that the contractor has had no non-conformances in product, packaging, marking, documentation, and that all orders have been received on time.
